Whilst in New York, I booked a walking tour of the 9/11 Memorial.  The guide was fantastic and provided us with insights of the tragic events of 9/11.  We started outside Saint Pauls Chapel located one block away from the 9/11 Memorial. It is the oldest public building which survived the falling buildings and all the debris, and is still in working order. The Bell of Hope is located in the grounds of the Chapel.

The guide then lead us to the 9/11 Memorial and explained the memorial site and all the planning and careful thought that went into creating this memorial.
