Every New Year holiday period we plan to do something that we have never done before  or go somewhere we haven’t been to been to. This year I booked us to do the Glow Worm Kayaking trip. Having never kayaked before, I was a little nervous about what to expect but thought many people have done this before and there are experienced guides to help me.

Wow, it was amazing! It was so tranquil kayaking along the river listening to the sounds of the river. We stopped for a hot drink and waited for it to get dark. We then drifted back through the canyon draped with native ferns and the amazing display of glow worms on the surrounding walls. It was one of the best displays of glow worms I have ever seen.

A wonderful experience that I would recommend doing if you get the chance.
