Arriving at the 57 storey Marina Bay Sands was quite impressive with the luxury shopping centre, the celebrity chef restaurants and of course the infinity pool on top.

It was well worth the accomodation cost to have access to the pool and the observation deck. Our room had a city view from the 37th floor which overlooked the nightly light show in the river.

Since I had visited Singapore nearly 20 years ago, the Gardens on the Bay have been opened and this was amazing . We went to the Cloud Forest, the Flower Dome Conservatory and the Floral Fantasy display, all were exceptional and would take you around 3 hours to leisurely wonder through.

Singapore was a great place to spend a few days with so many things to do.

Changi airport did not disappoint with its latest water fountain and gardens. Worth getting to the airport early to spend some time. It is before going through customs so if you can check your bags early then you will have time to explore.
