For someone that has been to Queenstown many times , I had to think of what we might do when arriving for a night after a trip to Te Anau.

Staying at the QT hotel in Queenstown was quite a treat with views of Lake Wakatipu . The room was quiet and very comfortable.

First evening we went across to Arrowtown for the most amazing Italian dinner at Aosta. I think it is the best Italian that I have had in NZ .

The next morning we had booked to do the shotover jets. For someone that is normally very scared of all things fast, I loved the jet boat ride. The scenery along the ride is exceptional . Pity there wasn’t an opportunity to take photos . I was too busy hanging on!

An afternoon drive to Glenorchy was great . Such amazing scenery wherever you go around the area.

Then it was home from an amazing week away.
